Race Description

The Clowne Half Marathon is organised by the Clowne Road Runners Club, it's a very popular race and an early entry is advised. The start and finish are in different places within Clowne but baggage left in the drop off area at the start will be moved to the finish.

Clowne Half Marathon Route Map

The race starts at The Arc, High Street finishing at the Clowne Community Centre. Runners follow a hilly loop through surrounding rural areas, passing through the nearby villages of Whaley, Elmton, Creswell and Whitwell with hills at 3, 6, 9 and 12 miles.
