Race Description:
This is an off road 20 mile race using the trails and footpaths around the Irwell Valley. Finishers receive a medal and goody bag. The race is run approximately a month before the Manchester marathon and 7 weeks before London marathon, it therefore makes ideal preparation as one of your longer runs for a spring marathon attempt. 2019 saw a course redesign which has proved popular.
It's a two lap course and is reasonably flat, there is one short lap of 2 miles and then two larger laps of 9 miles. The course is a quite flat trail route but parts of the course can be muddy and slippy if it has been raining.

1st, 2nd & 3rd plus all vet categories. (Male & Female)
