Race Description:

The Eyam Half Marathon starts and finishes in the historic village of Eyam. At the race start you climb for over 400 feet within the first two miles before the course levels off over the next three miles as you pass through the hamlets of Bretton and Abney. The second half of the race is then an 800ft descent over 4.5 miles towards Hathersage before a tough 800ft climb over two miles before the last section of the race finishing in the final 400ft descent back into Eyam.

It is known as the 'Rat Race' and is a popular event with over 1,200ft of ascent and great views across five counties.
