Holkham Half Marathon 2025 Race Entry
The website organising the Holkham Half Marathon 2025 is https://www.outlawtriathlon.com/holkham-half-marathon/overview/
Race Description:
The Holkham Half Marathon no longer runs on the event weekend. The organisers now run a 70.3 triathlon and also a 10k and kids race, please check with the organisers for more details
The start area for the Holkham Half Marathon is near the Ice House on South Drive, with the impressive Holkham Hall in the background. Along the route you will pass Holkham Obelisk, the Great Barns and The Triumphal Arch on your route of the Holkham Estate. Once on the return section you will climb back up past the Obelisk before a fast downhill finish past the Ice House to finish on orange carpet on the back lawn, with Holkham Hall as the backdrop to your finish line photos.
The 13.1mile course is a mix of tarmac and internal estate farm roads. This is a very scenic but challenging course.
The route will be two laps of an approximately 10K lap. Starting from the Ice House, approximately 500metres from the main site area. The route is a figure of eight, using mainly the estate tarmac roads and some sand lanes. Just after 10KM, you will finish the first lap, turn right and follow your previous steps for a second lap. When you have completed two laps, then turn left to the finish.
