Race Description
The 2022 Barns Green Half Marathon marked 40th year of this Half Marathon. The first race was held in 1982 and attracted just over one thousand runners. The race is unique in presenting gold medals, silver and bronze medals to runners depending upon their finishing time. The race is set in the heart of the West Sussex countryside,the Race H.Q is in the Barns Green Village Hall, which is 5 miles south-west of Horsham. There is plenty of free car parking and there is chip timing for each runner. There are also pacemakers running to help runners to achieve their target finish time.
