Race Description:
Discontinued
The half marathon is 5 laps of the airfield. There are no mass starts and no gun times with this event. Runners are set off in small, socially distanced groups at regular intervals. The runway is over 3km long and there is a very large 20 hectares rectangular hardstanding area for car parking. The race is very good for a PB but can be windy with it being an exposed runway.
The Race times for the various distances are:
09:00 - 09:30 Marathon (10 laps)
11:00 - 11:30 Half marathon (5 laps)
12:00 - 12:30 10M (4 laps)

The route has been accurately measured by UKACM and a race licence has been issued by UKA.
Each runner entered for the race will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a race medal, water and chocolate.
