Race Description:

The Carsington Water Half Marathon is part of the Carsington Festival of Running Half Marathon is also joined on the day with a Marathon, 10km, 5km and a Junior Race.

The course for the half marathon is one complete lap plus an out and back section.

The course for the Carsington Water Half Marathon is an undulating, muli-terrain route with a few inclines and some super downhill sections. You can expect mostly hard track and, if the weather has been particularly wet in the days leading up to race day, then you can expect mud! Glorious mud! - It all adds to the fun!
Whilst the course has been measured using GPS, it cannot carry a certificate of course accuracy due to its multi-terrain nature.
