Chelmsford Half Marathon Race Entry

Race Description:
The Chelmsford Half Marathon runs alongside the Chelmsford Marathon. Early entry is advised for this single lap course run on road and tarmac paths. Starting in the city centre and finishing in Central Park, this rural race route is scenic and runs through the city of Chelmsford then heads out onto undulating roads through countryside and picturesque villages in North Essex, with plenty of support throughout the route.
The end of the race welcomes you down an avenue of autumn trees into Central Park with spectator viewing at the finish.
Chelmsford Half Marathon Course
Using a virtually flat route this accurately measured single lap course starts outside Shire Hall in Chelmsford City Centre and takes runners along the high street and through to Chelmer village and then onto Writtle College and the villages of Roxwell and Willingale before finishing in Central Park.
The race includes a large selection of water and aid stations located at 8 points around the course. There will be selected pacers on the course. Please note there is a cut off time of 8 hours for the event due to health and safety reasons.
