Race Description:
The Chelmsford Marathon runs alongside the Chelmsford Half Marathon and in 2021 is incorprating The Essex Road Running Championships
The marathon is a 26.2mile/42.195km single lap course on road and hard tarmac paths. The route commences in the pretty city of Chelmsford winding it's way through to find the undulating nearby countryside and pretty villages in the surrounding area. The race finishes with a beautiful autumn welcome in the stunning Central Park. With many spectators and support throughout the route to cheer you on - this race is highly rated and is recommended among runners.
