Race Entry Information
Chichester Harbour Chidham Half Marathon Race Entry
The website organising the Chichester Harbour Chidham Half Marathon is https://www.ukrunningevents.co.uk/events/trail-runs
The Chidham Trail Run follows a route around Chidham Peninsular and surrounding harbour-side paths taking in the most spectacular views of Chichester Harbour (an area of outstanding natural beauty); including long reaching views over Bosham Hoe, Itchenor, East Head and the surrounding South Downs.
The quiet scenic routes will overload your senses with constant coastal vistas and wildlife, making it one of the south of England's best kept secret trail runs. This well crafted off-road route will guide you around the perimeter of the Chidham Peninsular and an additional loop around the top of the harbour.
The route is run at low tide as it includes a small section of the foreshore giving a unique running experience. The flat nature of the course makes for a perfect early-season run. With two route distances (21.3km or15km) to choose from, there is a distance to cater for all abilities.
The event is chip timed and will have water station(s) on route to keep you hydrated.
Canicross Entries are welcome on the 15km route (*Max 1 Dog per runner*)
At the finish you will receive a well-deserved quality event specific medal, running cups and neck buff.
