Race Description:
The Clacton Half Marathon takes place on the seafront along both the top and bottom promenades. The course is mostly flat and is therefore suitable for all runners from beginners to more seasoned athletes looking for a PB. The Clackton Half Marathon route is a two lap accurately-measured course. The few inclines and declines are to access and leave the Clacton Lower Promenade.
The course offers both mile and kilometre markers, with the surface being tarmac or concrete throughout. The closest railway station is Clacton-on-Sea and it's roughly a mile from the station to the race HQ.
