The Copenhagen marathon is a flat, fast and scenic marathon in a vibrant and modern city, you might want to consider the Copenhagen Marathon. The race is held every year in May and attracts runners from all over the world who want to experience the Danish capital and its friendly atmosphere.

 

The Copenhagen Marathon is a certified World Athletics Road Race Label event, which means it meets high standards of organisation, safety and quality. The course is a single loop that takes you through the most iconic landmarks and neighbourhoods of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, such as the old Stock Exchange, the parliament building, the Little Mermaid statue, the Tivoli Gardens and more. You will also enjoy the green parks, the waterfront views and the urban vibes along the way.

 

The race is very spectator-friendly, with more than 100,000 cheering fans lining up the streets and creating a festive mood. You will also be entertained by live bands and DJs at various points of the course, who will boost your energy and motivation.
