Race Description:

Race discontinued...

The 2023 event is not going ahead.

The Denbies Half Marathon put on by Phoenix running consists of repeating a 1 mile loop that as been made as flat as the race organisers can. In more detail the lap is fff road trail, through the wine estate on a flat 1 mile route with slight cambers.

Each runner gets up to 30 hours to finish this event - from 8.00am on Saturday 8th October right through to 2.00pm on Sunday 9th October, so if you fancy having a go at your very first Marathon or Half Marathon then you won't find a longer cut off time anywhere.

They also offer flexible start times from 8.00am Saturday right up until Sunday 9th, which means that if you start later, say at 11pm, you could try your first evening or even night run. You can also run more than one half marathon or marathon if you like, by simply entering the event more than once and starting when you like within the start window.

Therefore it really is a great flexible way to run what you want, when you want.

The event is fully chip timed so runners have no worry about keeping track of laps, the race organiser does that for you and can tell you exactly how far you've run each time you pass the aid station.
