This race is discontinued.
The Down Tow Up Flow Half Marathon is a gloriously scenic and flat, multi-terrain, point-to-point half marathon along the Thames towpath, run in opposite directions each year! This year in 2022 is ‘Down Tow’, therefore, the route will begin in Marlow before winding its way along the Thames and finishing in Windsor.
The course has spectacular views and plenty of vantage points along the way, this event is great for newcomers and seasoned pros alike - perfect for a PB!
Purple Patch Running advise that: pre-race coach transfer is available from the finish (Alexandra Gardens, Windsor) to the start (Marlow Rugby Club). Park your car at the finish prior to the event, take our coach to the start and have your car waiting for you when you cross the finish line.
Further information with respect to the logistics and times of these transfers will be communicated closer to the event but places must be pre-booked, on the day requests will not be available. There are no transport options provided after the event.
