Race Description

The Fred Hughes 10 is a well established local race, organised by St Albans Striders since 1986. The race is held on the rolling country lanes of Bedmond in St Albans, Hertfordshire. It’s ideal for those looking to kick start their spring marathon training or make the step up from 10k.

The course starts and a finishes on the green opposite Waitrose on King Harry Lane, St Albans. This is a short walk from the race HQ at St Columba's College.

The route is on paved footpaths and undulating country lanes with several challenging hills.

The route is open to vehicle traffic and headphones will not be permitted.
