The Glencoe Half Marathon starts at Kinlockleven. From here there is a steep climb out as you head to the eastern end of the Aonoach Eagach ridge and then descend down the Devil's Staircase to reach Glencoe. The race course then turns west on the paths following the A82 to go through Glencoe in between two famous hill ranges – to your right the Aonach Eagach Ridge and to your left the Three Sisters and Ossians Cave. From there runners pass Loch Achtriochtan before heading on into the outskirts of Glencoe village for the finish at Red Squirrel camp site.
