The Grand Union Canal Half Marathon by Purple Patch Running is a point-to-point race that starts in Uxbridge, a short distance from the Piccaddilly and Metropolitan Line station. It follows the iconic, historical waterside all the way up to Watford. This race is run twice a year, in the peak trail running times of April and November. There is a strict runner limit and a waved start which allows for more room on the arrow sections of towpath.
