Race Description:
The Great Birmingham Run race offers a medal and t-shirt along with a finisher's goody pack. There is also free training and advice available. On the course runners there will be security and the safety of running on closed roads with great on course support from the crowds. The 2021 was cancelled, all runners who have already purchased a place in the event were automatically rolled over to 2022 and anyone who couldn't make the 2022 date could apply for a refund. The race is split into 4 waves.

When does the Great Birmingham Run start?
The orange wave starts at 9:30am.
What is the route of the Birmingham half marathon?
The route heads from the start in the city centre, past the bullring and out towards Calthorpe Park then Selly Park and Stirchley at around the halfway point before turning back along a similar but different route which goes through Cannon Hill Park around 9 miles and Edgbaston cricket ground at 10 miles. The race finishes in a different place to the start but not far away near Aston University.
