Race Description:
Great East Run Update - A statement from the race organiser in January 2022 has stated that 'It is with sadness that we announce the Great East Run will not take place in 2022 or in the future. '
The route did take runners on a scenic journey through the Holywells Park, past Ipswich’s waterfront, under the iconic Orwell Bridge, with a finish next to Ipswich Town Football ground.
Closed roads offered a safe running environment. Previously finisher received a medal, a finishers t-shirt plus a finisher’s bag filled with goodies.
