Race Description:
The Guy Fawkes 10 mile race is a super hilly, popular course taking in the stunning countryside of Nidderdale and passing through the villages of Birstwith and Hampsthwaite. The race then finishes in the grounds of the famous Ripley Castle where you'll be welcomed by Mr Guy Fawkes himself along with a fabulous goodie bag! There will be 2 drinks stations on route, in Birstwith at 4 miles, and at 8 miles after the bridge in Hampsthwaite. Drinks will also be provided at the finish. This is a super popular race and it fills up really quickly.
Please note that the course is not suitable for wheelchair racers and dogs are not permitted. The event takes place on public roads shared with motor traffic. Due to safety reasons the wearing of headphones and audio devices will not be allowed.
