Race Description
The Hastings Half Marathon is an established event taking place in the scenic coastal town of Hastings, East Sussex. Set for 5th October 2025 at 10:30 AM, the race features a challenging and hilly route that spans the distance of 13.1 miles. Starting from Grosvenor Gardens, the course winds through picturesque streets, leading runners past historic landmarks and scenic views.
The route is characterized by its undulating terrain, making it suitable for seasoned runners seeking a demanding challenge. The first half of the race features elevation changes, while the second half offers a more gradual descent towards the seaside finish line. The surface consists of tarmac roads, and participants should prepare for the hills that mark the beginning of the course.
Aid stations are strategically placed throughout the race, with water and refreshments available at miles 4, 8, and 11. Runners will find the start line positioned at Grosvenor Gardens, Sea Rd, Grosvenor Cres, Saint Leonards-on-Sea, TN38 0BX, and the finish line is located on Sea Road, creating a festive atmosphere as participants cross the line.
