Race Description:
The Haweswater Half Marathon follows an out and back course, running from Bampton Village (9 miles south of Penrith and 4 miles west of Shap). The race follows a scenic route along the shores of Haweswater in a remote mountain valley. The course is very hilly as you would imagine from this area and offers spectacular views in these unique surroundings.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female,
1st Male & Female V40, V50, , V60, and V70.
On the day, you’ll also receive a unique souvenir mug filled with hot tea and a piece of flapjack.
