Race Description:

The Björn Borg Helsinki Marathon offers multiple race distances: full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km, and a marathon relay (4 x 10.55 km). The marathon and half marathon start at Meripuisto, while the 10 km race begins at Kaisaniemenranta and finishes at Meripuisto. Additionally, a Kids Run featuring 500 m and 1000 m distances will take place on the Friday.

The marathon course is a single loop that traverses city streets, scenic waterfronts, and fast running lanes in the east and north of Helsinki, starting and finishing in Meripuisto . The event is open to runners aged 15 and above for the marathon and half marathon distances. Chip timing is provided, and pacers are available for various target finish times. Hydration stations are positioned approximately every 3–4 kilometers, offering water, sports drinks, and energy chews. Bag storage is available near the start and finish lines, and showers are accessible at Töölön Kisahalli on race day
