Race Description:
The Humber Bridge Half Marathon was postponed in June 2023 but returns for 2024 in September!
The Humber Bridge Half Marathon starts a short walk from the Humber Bridge Car Park on Ferriby Road, Hessle, between Heads Lane and Barrow Lane, with a loop around the west side of the town of Hessle, before heading through the Humber Bridge Car Parks past the first drink station and past the 2 mile marker to head onto the Bridge itself. You cross the actual Humber Bridge and then face 'Cardiac Hill' before run turns back. The finish involves runners heading back onto the bridge for an uphill run towards the central span and the 12 marker. From the centre it’s all downhill as the race heads off the bridge back and spirals down through mile 13 and towards the finish line.
