Race Description:

The Isle of Wight Marathon has been run continuously since 1957, making it the longest running marathon in the UK and 25th in the world.

The route is a one lap course using the much quieter roads on the west of the island which are the undulating town and rural roads through Cowes, Gurnard, Rew Street, Porchfield, Shalfleet,Yarmouth, Afton, Willmingham, Thorley, Wellow, Shalfleet, Porchfield, Northwood, Cowes.
