Jurassic Express Half Marathon Race Entry

Race Description

The Jurassic Express Half Marathon starts from Swanage. A fabulous Jurassic Coast Trail run, an experience you will remember for years.
The race sets off from the seaside town of Swanage, and runs across epic trails with stunning coastal and castle vistas.  The finish is at Corfe with it historic ancient Castle ruins, before boarding a private steam train for the return journey. Sit back, relax, soak up the views and reflect on the experience as you return to your car via the Swanage railway.
 
The route itself has 2 options a half marathon (22km) and a 16km option. Both routes are loaded with epic trails, awe-inspiring views of the Jurassic Coast including Old Harry Rocks, Studland and Corfe Castle. The chalk and sandy trails are hard packed and lend themselves to a enjoyable trail running experience.
 
At the finish you will receive a well-deserved quality event specific medal, running cups and neck buff.
 
Return train tickets cost £8 and can be booked at the same time as your entry.
