Race Description
The Synlab Lake Como Half Marathon takes place in the stunning surroundings of Lake Como, Italy. The course is 21.097 kilometers long, featuring a mix of flat and slightly undulating terrain. Runners will navigate along picturesque lakeside paths and through charming towns, making it a visually appealing event. The elevation gain is approximately 150 meters, with gentle hills that enhance the landscape without being overly challenging.
The race begins at the Piazza Cavour in the city center of Como. Runners will follow a designated route that passes several notable landmarks, including the historic Duomo di Como and the beautiful Villa Olmo. Key turning points are located at approximately 5 km, where runners will turn near the waterfront promenade. The course continues along the lake, with a brief detour into the town of Cernobbio before returning to the lakeshore path for the final stretch back to the finish line.

There will be water and aid stations available for runners at specific intervals to ensure hydration and support. Water stations will be positioned at miles 4, 8, and 11. In addition, medical assistance will be stationed throughout the course for any first aid needs.
