Race Description:

The Lanzarote International Marathon takes place in December along a coastal path covering the municipalities of Costa Teguise, Arrecife, San Barlotomé and Puerto del Carmen. With an average temperature of 19ºC. The marathon starts opposite the Sands Active resort in Costa Teguise and goes around Arrecife following the promenade and then turns around between Matagorda and Puerto Del Carmen and returns along the same route, a fairly straightforward out and back. There is also a half marathon option starting from the mid-way point of the marathon near Matagorda and a 10k option running a challenging route back from Arrecife.

There are water stations approximately every 2.5km. The bib collection and expo is located near to the finish area in Costa Teguise.
