Race Description:
Running the Lausanne Marathon is a challenging but rewarding experience for runners of all levels. The marathon takes place every year in October, starting and finishing at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. The course follows the shores of Lake Geneva, offering scenic views of the Alps and the vineyards. The marathon is part of a larger event that includes a half-marathon, a 10K race, and a walking and Nordic walking race. The Lausanne Marathon attracts over 10,000 participants from more than 60 countries, making it one of the most popular and international marathons in Europe.
The marathon is also known for its high standards of organization, security, and medical services. The Lausanne Marathon is a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon and the Abbott World Marathon Majors. Runners who complete the marathon receive a medal, a certificate, and a souvenir T-shirt. The Lausanne Marathon is more than just a race; it is a celebration of running culture and Swiss hospitality.
There is the option to receive the bib at home rather than attend the expo in person to collect it.
In case of change of registration to a different but shorter distance (for example from marathon to half marathon) it is not possible to claim the refund on the difference of the registration price. In the opposite direction (for example from half marathon to marathon) the runner will have to pay the difference in the registration price.
