The Leeds Half Marathon is one of the oldest major road races in the UK. It is a popular event attracting thousands of people onto the city’s streets both runners and supporters alike.
2023 sees the race take place alongside the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon!
The race starts in the city centre and is a challenging route through the city and the surrounding areas. The routes passes near the historic Kirkstall Abbey, which is a welcome sight being almost on the home straight which is nice and flat. This section follows the same route as the Leeds Abbey Dash and if you have some energy left is a great time to push as this part of the route is super fast. The race finishes along The Headrow and in front of the majestic Town Hall, before turning into Cookridge Street for the race finish in Millennium Square.
A goody bag awaits each finisher including a drink of Erdinger Alkoholfrei.
