Race Description:
The Llanelli Half Marathon starts and finishes at the home of the famous Scarlets rugby team. The Parc Y Scarlets stadium offers amazing facilities and is has many pre and post race facilities.
Runner start the race by passing the legendary Ray Gravell statue and follows the route through to the coastal link road to Sandy Water Park. At Pwll the race joins the stunning Millennium coast path and runners can enjoy Carmarthenshire's breathtaking scenery. The coastal path which overlooks Llanelli beach has views of the Loughor Estury and the Gower Peninsula.
The Llanelli Half Marathon has fantastic PB potential and is perfect for newbie and seasoned runners alike.
The event is on fully closed roads and has water stops every 3 miles as well as a pre-race energy gel collection point at the stadium.
