Race Description:
The Marathon de Cheverny commences after a musical start in front of the castle of Cheverny, the route begins with a small loop of 4.4 kilometers allowing to visit Cour-Cheverny. We then go along the Cheverny golf course alternating forest and countryside with a visit to the Domaine de Montcy held by the Italian winemaker Laura Semeria who bought it in 2017 to convert it into organic agriculture then biodynamic and develop wine tourism.
At the 20th kilometre, the marathoner runners enter the park of the castle by an alley lined with cedars several times centenary. Crossing of the park, second passage near the castle and departure for the 3rd and last large loop slightly different from the previous one. The 38th kilometre brings you to the Domaine du Portail where awaiting you is a gastronomic feast filled with goat cheese and, of course, vintage wines.
