Several laps of the smooth tarmac around Dorney Lake. This 20 mile race is scheduled 3 weeks before the Virgin Money London Marathon, Belfast, Loch Ness and Chester marathon and provides the ideal conditions to practice your pacing, fuelling and endurance strategies along with hundreds of other runners to help your marathon preparation
The race is set at the flat and smooth-surfaced tarmac of Dorney Lake near Windsor. The course takes you around the perimeter of the water, It's a bit under 4 miles a lap around Dorney Lake
There are fuel and water stations to keep you going. pacers, mile markers and chip-timed results will make it as easy as possible to get your pacing right so that you can focus on your run and practice refuelling and rehydrating during a race.
