Race Description:
The TCS New York City Marathon course runs 26.2 miles through the five boroughs of NYC. Timing mats are located at the start, every 5K, halfway (13.1 miles), mile 20, and the finish. Portable toilets (including wheelchair-accessible ones) are located at every mile beginning at mile 3. Transportation options to the start include the Staten Island Ferry, a bus from Midtown Manhattan, or a bus from the Meadowlands in New Jersey.
The TCS New York City Marathon App lets runners, spectators, and fans around the world put the marathon in their pockets for events and activities all week long.
