Race Description
Rhodes Marathon offers an immersive running experience set against the backdrop of the stunning Rhodes island in Greece. The race caters to different runner levels, featuring a full marathon, half marathon, and a 10K option. Each course boasts a unique blend of picturesque landscapes, historical landmarks, and varied terrains.
The marathon course spans a distance of 42.195 kilometers, starting at the picturesque Mandraki Harbor, located at 851 00, Rhodes City. Runners will traverse through the scenic roads, passing iconic spots such as the Palace of the Grand Master, the ancient city of Lindos, and the beautiful beaches of Glysteri and Kallithea. The route includes both paved and some unpaved paths, providing a diverse running experience.
Key landmarks along the marathon route include:
- Start at Mandraki Harbor
- Palace of the Grand Master
- Acropolis of Lindos
- Kallithea Springs
- Finish line at the Rhodes Arena
