The website organising the Royal Borough Of Kingston 16 Mile is https://quicksilver-running.co.uk/rbk-spring-raceday/
Race Description:
The Kingston Spring Raceday offers distances of 8 miles, 16 miles and 20 miles. The traditional Kingston 8 mile loop is a single lap with the 16 mile runners completing a second circuit, and the 20 milers following two laps plus an additional four miles on the river tow path.
Following the famous “Kingston Loop”, runners cross over Kingston Bridge and head up the iconic three mile stretch of the Barge Walk beside the Thames. The race then reaches the magnificent Hampton Court Palace before continuing through Thames Ditton and back towards Kingston Market Place. The longer distances repeat the loop.
The date is ideal for those runners preparing for a spring marathon
3 weeks before the Brighton Marathon
