Race Description:
The San Francisco Marathon runs along the bay through Fisherman’s Wharf, the Marina Green and Crissy Field on your way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Your first leg of the bridge ends with a one mile downhill towards Sausalito landing along the bay and heading out to Cavallo Point. Head up and under the bridge to begin the journey back into San Francisco, through the Presidio and across the Richmond District neighborhood, into Golden Gate Park where Haight St. awaits you. The marathon route then passes through the Mission District, along Mission Bay and past the home of the Golden State Warriors and The San Francisco Giants. The Bay Bridge finish line then awaits you.
All participants receive a technical fabric long-sleeved shirt. Finishers receive a medal, free photos and electronic finisher’s certificate.
