Race Description

The Sawtry 10 is a well-established race set in the scenic countryside of Sawtry, commencing at the Sawtry Village Academy, located at PE28 5TQ. This event features a course that is predominantly flat with gentle undulations, which may be suitable for a variety of runners. The surface is primarily composed of well-maintained country roads, providing an enjoyable and accessible experience.

The race course includes notable landmarks such as Hamerton Zoo, Aversley Woods, and Archers Woods, all contributing to the picturesque scenery surrounding the route. Participants will encounter several turns throughout the course, with specific turn points clearly marked for navigation. Runners will loop back to the starting point at the Sawtry Village Academy, completing the total distance of 10 miles (approximately 16 kilometers).
