Race Description:
The Stevenage Half Marathon starts and finishes at Ridlins Athletic Stadium. The two lap route takes you out onto cyclepaths towards Fairlands Valley Park, where runners make their way around two of the lakes. The traffic-free race then continues across the Showground towards The Lamex stadium, home of Stevenage FC, before returning to Ridlins either to finish or complete the second lap.
The course is fully signposted and marshalled and has some undulations, but the race organisers have indicated they are nothing to worry about as the support around the route will take your mind off of any bumps you might encounter. The route is completely road or cycle path based, so there are no muddy parts to it.
