Race Description:
For nearly 40 years, the Taunton Half Marathon was a staple of the local running scene, welcoming first-time racers, personal bests, and fierce competition. Crowds lined key sections of the course, cheering runners on when they needed it most. With the long-time race directors stepping down, the event left a noticeable gap in the local running calendar. Now, a new organiser is set to bring it back 2026.
The Race did not going ahead in 2024.

The Taunton half marathon course is one lap. The race starts and finishes at the Bridgwater & Taunton College, Wellington Road, Taunton. There are four water stations along the route and frequent marshal points. Medical back-up is provided by St John Ambulance.
