Race Description:
The Thames Riverside 20 mile race runs along the River Thames Towpath and is hosted by Clapham Chasers Running and Triathlon Club. The course route is flat, traffic free and mostly off road route along the south side of River Thames. From the Race HQ, which is the start and finish, at Bishop's Park, runners cross Putney Bridge and follow a 10 mile out and back route to Richmond. The terrain varies and is uneven in stretches and is made primarily of gravel with mud in places and limited lengths of footpath. The suggestion from the organiser is that normal road or trail shoes will be ideal.
Runners will need to keep left at all times since the course will be open to the public who retain right of way. All runners will start together at 8AM, with runners seeded at the start according to pace.
