Race Entry Information
Twilight Half Marathon Race Entry
The website organising the Twilight Half Marathon is https://www.nice-work.org.uk/races/the-twilight-ultra
The route is a secure, traffic-free, undulating and tarmac one that sees runners covering multiple laps of the 2k cycle circuit.
The Redbridge Cycle Circuit is a purpose built sporting facility with great facilities for both spectators and runners alike. There is plenty of on-site parking plus food and drink facilities.
The event features a choice of three distances from half marathon through to a 50k ultra distance, with start times varying according to the distance you select. If you aim high and select the 50k option, you can always step down to a shorter distance after you have started.
There will be well-stocked aid stations featuring hot and cold drinks on each lap – plus a selection of food and snacks from freshly made sandwiches through to soup and jelly babies.
The races have generous cut off times, with the circuit and event available until 9pm
The entry fee includes a medal and goody bag. There will also be a technical t-shirt included for ultra and marathon finishers which half marathon runners can purchase.
Twilight Half Marathon Route Map
This race uses the tarmac circuit at the Cycle Centre and runners complete multiple laps. The marathon consists of just over 10 laps and the race carries a certificate of course accuracy (UK Athletics).
Each 2km lap has two uphill climbs and one downhill – the hills are not particularly steep.
