Race Description:

The Twin Lakes 20 race, was formerly known as the Bedford 20 race is now held on a beautifully scenic route and is the perfect marathon preparation.  It's a fast and mostly flat traffic free course, covering 2 laps through the Milton Keynes countryside.

There is a waterside view for a lot of the race from the two lakes, the River Ouzel and Grand Union Canal.  It is a multi-terrain course on cycle paths, gravel paths and the canal towpath.

It is a well organised and friendly event which is run by runners.

It is stated to bring your own hydration and nutrition to the event, using bottle belts and hydration backpacks, etc.

There are Aid Stations every 5 miles and volunteers will refill water bottles using jugs. Aid Stations will only have water.

Price includes a finishers technical t-shirt and a medal.
