Race Description:

The Vale of York Half Marathon is a fast and flat race. The race is one lap and starts and finishes just outside Wistow and goes out onto the scenic closed roads south of York and north of Selby. The course is suitable for wheelchairs. To address the environmental impact of the race,the organiser is asking runners to choose whether to buy the finisher's technical t-shirt and to opt in or out of the finisher's medal. For runners opting out of the finisher's medal the organisers will donate £2 to their charity partner Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Entries on the day will be available for an additional £5 if the race does not sell out.
