Race Description:
The Wimborne 10 mile race is rural, scenic, undulating course run in the county of Dorset. It has an unusual start bang provided by the Wimborne Militia and their muskets.The race is run under UKA rules and is fully marshalled. There are mile markers with a race limit of 500 runners Water stations are provided at 3, 5, 7 miles and the finish. There is a race memento to all finishers. The course is not closed to traffic and surplus race proceeds are donated to a local charity after the race.
