Worksop Half Marathon Race Entry

Race Description:
The Worksop Halloween Half Marathon also known as 'the scenic one' was first run in 1982. It attracts up to 3000 runners each year. It is a great half marathon and is really well organised. The course is really interesting where it starts heading up Sparken Hill, around in to Clumber park via Carburton Lodge before running through Truman’s, Clumber Road and Windmill Lane and in to the historic grounds of Worksop College. The route is undulating but definitely one where a PB is possible. In autumn the trees in Clumber park are looking wonderful and are a treat to run through.
There will be 3 drinks stations (issued in cups) and one sponge station located throughout the course. Bottled water (in 100% recyclable bottles) will also be provided at the finish.

Worksop Halloween Half Marathon Route
The race has had a different route since 2016 and no longer starts off in the centre of Worksop. The first mile used to be tough but this was also the finish mile so it was a really fast finish back into the town centre again. The current route starts and finishes at the Outward Academy Portland but still offers a great route through Clumber Park, providing beautiful scenery for runners and spectators.
