Race Description:
The Bath Half Marathon is one of the most popular city centre road races in Britain and one of the longest running. It is also one of the most successful charity events in the South West of England, typically raising over £1 million. As well as the 'Bath Half' there is a Family Fun Run.
The route is predominantly flat with some undulating sections, a two lap race starting and finishing in Great Pulteney Street. This is one of the widest Georgian boulevards in Europe, spaning some 46 feet preventing any overcrowding at the start. The course winds through the heart of the city straddling both sides of the river Avon on the way to the finish line.
A very popular race which fills up very quickly.
